I found it hard to write about the launch of Fulljames Law without involving our personal story. So here it is…
Fulljames Law had an unconventional beginning: Ben was busy with his other business ventures, and I had hyperemesis gravidarum (a severe pregnancy illness) which forced me to quit my dream job as a lawyer.
Fast forward a few months and the safe arrival of baby Fulljames, some dear friends reached to me for advice because they had been diagnosed with terminal illnesses. It was a devastating time that brought a lot of clarity. We quickly realised that we needed to launch the firm to provide urgent advice to our dearest friends.
And so Fulljames Law was born – a firm that was started for our clients and continues to exist for our clients.
When we say we are client focussed, we mean it. Every step of our journey has involved tweaking, changing and innovating to make sure our clients feel confident, have peace of mind and walk away with practical legal solutions.
I am very proud of our firm and our team. Being a part of Fulljames Law is truly my ‘pinch me’ moment.

Romy completed her legal education at the University of Queensland and embarked upon her professional career at a Brisbane-based law firm, where she diligently worked on various aspects of business, commercial and property law with a particular emphasis on charitable organisations and non-profit entities.
She then commenced work at a prominent Sunshine Coast law firm. During her time on the Sunshine Coast, Romy oversaw the firm’s business and estate divisions, wherein she exhibited an ardent interest in assisting clients to leave a lasting legacy for their near and dear ones.
Now, in addition to being the Director of Fulljames Law, Romy lectures at a local college as the course co-ordinator of Business Law and Corporate Law subjects and also sits on a number of boards.
